Kitten Care
Kittens receive a comprehensive exam, looking for signs of injury, illness, birth defects and parasites. We review your kitten's health record, if any, and determine the appropriate vaccination and deworming schedule.
We will help you make the decision about if and when to spay/neuter. We'll also advise you about diet and general care.

Spay/Neuter
Spaying and neutering is essential to maintaining the well being of the Methow Valley's feline community, and it's also important for your cat's health.
Spaying and neutering are procedures that support your cat’s health. Spaying females eliminates the risk of uterine infections and greatly reduces the risk of mammary cancer.
Neutering males prevents testicular cancer and can decrease roaming, spraying, and fighting.
These procedures take less than an hour, however that doesn't include prep and recovery time. Typically you will drop off your cat in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon.
Dentistry
Your cat's oral health is just as important as yours.
Our feline dental care services focus on preventing and treating periodontal disease.
We provide comprehensive oral exams, professional dental cleanings under anesthesia, digital dental radiographs, and extractions when a tooth is broken or diseased.
We also screen for common feline conditions such as tooth resorption and gingivitis, and offer guidance on home dental care to help reduce plaque and tartar between visits.
Allergies
Allergies are surprisingly common in cats. An allergy occurs when the cat’s immune system overreacts. The most common types of allergy are to fleas, food and airborne substances like pollen, mold, dust mites, or grasses.
We can help identify and treat your cat's allergies.
Surgery
Surgery is typically performed in the morning with most pets going home the same afternoon.
We use isoflurane anesthesia which is an inhalant delivered through a mask or an endotracheal tube and mixed with oxygen to keep a patient fully unconscious. We monitor anesthesia with pulse oximetry, blood pressure. temperature, end tidal CO2 and ECG, and we have a heated surgery table to ensure we maintain your pet's body temperature.
We attend to your pet's comfort at all times.
